It’s been a minute as far as self-initiated work goes, however as soon as I saw Daniel Roseberry’s Schiaparelli collection for Spring Summer Haute Couture week, I just HAD to draw it.
In fact, I found it so hard to narrow down my favourites I ended up selecting three. I chose what I thought would translate well into my style; a combination of graphic silhouettes with a hint of gold accessories.
I’m still on Maternity leave so I’m stealing moments to draw when I can, however I hope I can squeeze out more of these show-based illustrations in future.
With NYFW just around the corner it’s only a matter of time!

Farewelling the year with a project that I began at the end of LAST year - illustrations for Parisian haircare brand, Christophe Robin’s, 2021 Holiday gift boxes. These included two exclusive sets for Sephora stores.

Taking inspiration from the key ingredients in each range – Purifying, Regenerating, Volume, Hydrating and Curl – the illustrations had to create the perfect frame for each curated gift box, drawing the customer into the world of CR.

These gift boxes are available now via Christophe Robin’s website and you can read more about them by clicking here.

lit CHRISTMAS

At a time when it feels like we’ve never been more isolated from each other and the rest of the world, there is a glimmer of hope as we head into the festive season with proverbial freedom within reach and the prospect of brighter days with the ones we love.

When it came to the design of this year’s Christmas card, I found myself wondering exactly what kind of collective feeling we’re experiencing around the impending holidays.
On one hand it doesn’t feel like the best time to go hard on the festive cheer, however, on the other, I wanted to convey a sense of the approaching light at the end of the tunnel and the promise of Christmas joy ahead!
Whether this light represents time with family and friends, or you’re wrapping it around yourself like a warm hug, it’s a special kind of holiday this year;
Bathe in glitter! Turn the party lights on! Blast the Boney M and let’s just have ourselves a virtual Christmas celebration!

‘Lit Christmas’ cards have been printed on high quality 320gsm card stock and stamped with rose gold foil for an extra element of shiny! Available in sets of 3 here: www.birdyandme.com/shop
Please do bear in mind that quantities are limited and a back-logged postal system is experiencing significant delays so do get in quick to avoid disappointment (and to allow time to send them toward their lucky recipients!)

I’ll also be heading off on leave very soon, so the shop itself will close from Nov 8th to allow enough time for your goodies to reach you.

As always, thank you for your support this year, I look forward to creating more in 2022!
Happy Holidays! xo

I’m so pleased to share a project that I worked on earlier in the year for Holly Willoughby’s newly launched lifestyle & wellness platform, Wylde Moon.
While working on the illustration with her incredible team it was shrouded in such secrecy and I knew very little about the end result - or even who was creating it! The central briefing was that the hero image had to encapsulate femininity in a very natural, raw, and wild state - while referencing the body’s connection to the lunar cycle.
It’s a pleasure to finally see the finished product, along with the beautiful imagery and words from the lovely Holly. Be sure to pop over to the website here and check it out!
