Limited edition Giclée print of original illustration ‘Pig + Pepper,’ based on characters from Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.’

Taking inspiration from the chapter ‘Pig and Pepper’ we find Alice in the home of the Duchess, her crazy cook, and a crying baby. As the cook shouts and throws plates at the Duchess, she shakes more and more pepper into her soup, everyone sneezes, and the baby cries incessantly. Alice takes the baby from the Duchess, running away to save it from the wild scenes inside the house. Within minutes the baby transforms into a small pig, startling Alice, who lets it go running off into the woods.

The illustration sees Alice dressed in Jean Paul Gaultier gown from the Spring 2019 collection, along with a tiny Prada headband. You can also see the door mouse hiding in a teacup amongst the daisies if you look down at her feet!

Printed with archival pigment inks on 300 gsm 100% cotton rag paper, ‘Pig + Pepper’ measures approximately 29.7 x 42 cm, comes signed and numbered by the artist with certificate of authenticity. Edition of 25 prints only.

‘Pig + Pepper’ was created with pencil and digital colouring.

Print will be posted inside a plastic sleeve, in a bend proof mailer.
